Film, Music, More!And when we say more, we mean it.Besides bringing you 54 films from around the world and two full days of live music on three stages we are also putting together extraordinary educational panels with the opportunity to meet fine film makers, actors, animators, musicians and producers who are here to share their knowledge and show business savvy so you can get an inside look at entertainment. Whether you are in the business yourself or just want to know more about how it all works our educational panels are open to all badge holders.This year we have Academy Award Winner Luke Matheny in attendance. Luke is the actor, writer and director of God Of Love which won the 2011 Oscar for Best Live-Action Short Film and will be awarded The Clearwater Film Music Festival's own unique trophy, The Wavecrest Award for Triple Threat Film Making. He will also be with us for educational panels to convey his knowledge of navigating film school.Dolphin Tale actor Jim Fitzpatrick will also be with us to talk shop about the acting business. With over 50 film roles to his credit including parts in All My Children and Star Trek: Enterprise, Jim will be sharing his insight on what it takes to make a career in acting.Plus, we have live music on three separate stages on Clearwater Beach featuring local bands like Charlie Ries, Bet Me I'm Lying, Gypsy Star, The Special People's Club, "Pal Joey" Olivo, and Not Broken Yet. Bands traveling in from across the country include GroovProject, Danielle Antonio, Chocolate4TheSoul, The Romeo Flynns, Cats In The Basement and Jae Apollo.Our films come from around the world and include full length features, short subjects, animations and documentaries.
